🛳️ New Ferries
Those of you who use the Portsmouth – St Malo route to get to Le Rhun will experience a brand new cruise ferry this summer. The new ‘Saint-Malo’ runs on LNG at sea, whilst it uses battery power to manoeuvre around the port and shoreside electricity to keep everything running when it’s alongside the dock. With more cabins and more car deck space, the Saint-Malo replaces the ‘Bretagne’ which was retired over the winter after a 35-year career. You can read more about the Saint-Malo here: Saint-Malo. There will be a brand new ferry on the Portsmouth-Caen route as well, when the ‘Gillaume-de-Normandie’ joins the fleet later in the Spring. For our guests who prefer the ease of Plymouth-Roscoff, the regular favourites ‘Armorique’ and ‘Pont-Aven’ will be back for the summer service which starts in time for Easter.

✈️ New Flights too…
Good news for those who prefer to fly to Le Rhun, as for Summer 2025, two airlines will be flying from the UK to Brest. EasyJet and Volotea are both offering two flights a week each way from Gatwick to Brest. And with Brest airport only 45 minutes away from Le Rhun it couldn’t be easier.
