The Chestnut Loft, (Les Châtaigniers) originally the farm’s grain store, sits at an angle to the main farmhouse above the farmhouse kitchen and dining room.
The Loft was restored between 1992 and 1994 and offers a large open plan living and dining area with beautiful polished wooden floorboards throughout and low windows overlooking the rolling fields that lead down to the woodland.
The kitchen area houses a dual fuel range cooker, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and well equipped kitchen cupboards. The salon area offers a comfortable sofa and chairs, a feature electric wood effect stove and a TV with freesat and DVD player, and a large wooden chest filled with interesting toys.
The shower room with wc and hand basin has low windows overlooking the garden.
The Chestnut Loft accommodates 6 people in a master double bedroom, a second double bedroom and a bunk bed room with bunk beds made to look like the front of an old Parisien building. All the bedrooms have windows overlooking the courtyard.
A private garden with wooden furniture and stone-built barbecue offers a secluded spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and is bordered by chestnut trees and a walnut tree on one side and open farmland on another.
